The registration form for either baseball or softball can be found here.  The cost for either baseball or softball ranges from $35-$50 per player, depending on age.

Team practices will begin in early March, and seasons will conclude by early June.  A complete breakdown of the season schedule for softball can be found here, while more information on the dates for the upcoming youth baseball schedule can be found here.

Before the season starts, players will also be able to attend a players’ school at the Haynsworth Gym on Feb. 25 & 26.  The training sessions for prospective players will be from noon to 5 p.m. both days, and has a $75 fee.

Meanwhile, adults looking to coach either softball or baseball teams must participate in a coaches’ school, held Feb. 9 at the recreation department offices at 155 Haynsworth St.  There is a $25 fee for the school. Prospective team coaches and assistant coaches must also fill out a registration form, which can be found here for baseball and here for softball.

All league meetings for both softball and baseball will be at the recreation department offices.  Applications for players and coaches should be returned to the department offices, as well.

Team sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses, the cost of which is $300.  While sponsorship opportunities will be limited, the recreation department guarantees returning sponsors will get priority, as long as their forms and fees are submitted by Feb. 13.  Softball sponsorship forms can be found here, while baseball sponsorship forms can be found here.
